ExtroBritannia's October event / UKTA Annual General Meeting

The next ExtroBritannia event is scheduled for Saturday the 1st of October 2005 starting at 10am at Conway Hall, Holborn, London. Everyone welcome. Entrance is free.

This month’s event is organised around the UK Transhumanist Association’s Annual General Meeting. The event will be open to UKTA members, sympatizers, and the simply curious.


Board of Directors/Chairman election

UKTA's legal status: Should we maintain registered company status? Is it worth it?

Second years' activity: Sci-fi convention planning (Volunteers to man the stand. Print and video material – what, how, who); Other outreach activities (?); Press releases (4 per year?) / submissions (1 per year?); ExtroBritannia; Blog/Mailing lists/Website


The AGM will take place at Conway Hall, in Holborn, where we have hired the Artists’ Room from 10am to 5pm.

Feel free to show up at any time, but please note that we will at the nearby Penderel's Oak for about an hour for lunch at some point between 12 noon and 2pm. If it's your first time at an ExtroBritannia event and you are going to join us at the pub, look out for a copy of Kurzweil's "The Age of Spiritual Machines" at our table:
